Pretoria -Blue Bulls' wing Bryan Habana, will resume training on Monday and team doctor Org Strauss is optimistic the try scoring machine will be fit to play against the wholesale pearl earrings Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup final at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Habana injured his hamstring in the latter part of the second half of the semi-final against Western Province, but he is making steady progress and at this stage there is a good possibility he will recover in time for the final.

Habana's Springbok team-mate, Chiliboy Ralepelle, who picked up akoya pearl necklace a stress fracture, is also recovering at a steady rate and will join up with the Bulls on Monday afternoon.

Ralepelle did not take part in Monday morning's training session as he will only be assessed during the afternoon session.

The rest of the squad are all fit and ready to fire and judging by the way they trained on Monday morning, it is evident the Bulls are more than determined to add the Currie Cup title to inflatable tent their Super 14 trophy.
