STOP THE "MULTIETHNIC" DICTATORSHIP OF VMRO-DPA

The volume of police violence and terror against the inhabitants of Tetovo mountain region was accompanied with unseen violence in order to hide the evidences of the crime committed by police towards the civilian population.

Encouraged from the results produced by the “operation of multiethnic forces” and especially by inadequate reaction of international community, Governmental coalition VMRO – DPA continued to commit uncontrolled and multidimensional violence.

Covered with “investigation multiethnic bodies”, state authorities of Macedonia committed inhuman violence toward arrested individuals in Brodec. This uncontrolled violence aims to press the arrested individuals in order to admit the acts that were fabricated by the government coalition VMRO – DPA, in order to have an argument for their thesis.

Drunk by the effects of “the multiethnic” mask, the authorities sent “multiethnic tax officials” in order to shut up the independent media.

Using such words that are related to the “multiethnicity” concept does not represent a magic stick that will revert such violent actions into normal ones. The case of Macedonia is the best prove for this.

Macedonia is facing the risk to become a new dictatorship hidden under the mask of “multiethnicity”.

We herein, appeal to the democratic international community to use all forms of pressure on the Government of Macedonia, in order to prevent any eventual installation of the “multiethnic” dictatorship of VMRO - DPA.

Fights against all dictatorial forms, regardless under which political options they are appearing, is imperative of all democratic forces.

Today, this fight should get the form of a demand for release all the civilians arrested during police action in Brodec, Tetovo;

Today, this fight should get the form of a demand for establishment of a special international commission that will investigate the consequences that the civilian population from Brodec are facing as a result of the police action;

Today, this fight should get the form of a demand for punishment for all those responsible for committing this tragedy in Brodec;

Today, this fight should get the form of a demand for reviewing all the court procedures under which innocent individuals were punished and for their immediate release;

Today, this fight should get the form of a demand for preventing the pressure towards the independent media;

Today, this fight should get the form of a demand for saying STOP to the “multiethnic” dictatorship of VMRO – DPA.

In order to raise the awareness of the domestic and the international public opinion, the Albanian Democratic Union appeals to all those that have included the euro-american values and consider themselves as democrats to take a look at a part of the evidences that the independent media has collected, although under high threats and extreme difficulties.
